About Company: Our client is a drywall, acoustics, and specialty construction company that has been successfully completing commercial, residential, and government projects for nearly 50 years. They have continued to grow in its scope and size of work, currently working on projects valued from a few hundred thousand to over $11 million. Their services include; Drywall, Acoustic Ceilings, Interior and exterior structural and non-structural framing, Insulation and Firestopping, Select Rough Carpentry, and Specialty wall systems, GRG, FRP, and other misc. select interior construction.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager with expertise in estimating for commercial/residential construction projects, particularly in the areas of drywall, acoustical ceilings, and exterior/interior framing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both project management and estimating, with a proven ability to accurately assess project costs and develop competitive bids.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management and estimating (specific to the industry)
- Quick Bid, On-Screen Takeoff or other software experience
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
